Senior Associate - Audit & Advisory

The role of Senior Associate in our audit department offers an exciting opportunity for personal and professional growth within a dynamic firm. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to delivering high-quality audit services to leading clients while enjoying a good work-life balance.

This position involves collaborating with the management team to plan and execute assignments, as well as supervising and mentoring junior staff members to ensure quality and completion of tasks. Your expertise will be invaluable in identifying opportunities to provide additional value-added services to clients.

  • Deliver outstanding audit and advisory services with minimal supervision;
  • Contribute to and assist in achieving Audit department goals, including planning and execution of assignments;
  • Lead multiple audit assignments concurrently and optimize time and resource utilization;
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members to guarantee quality and task completion;
  • Present audit findings and address any issues that arise during the audit process;
  • Handle escalated client concerns from junior audit team members;
  • Utilize a range of audit and accounting applications to execute client assignments;
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver comprehensive audit and advisory services;
  • Identify opportunities to offer additional value-added services to clients.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualifications as a qualified ACA/ACCA accountant;
  • Previous experience in an Audit team environment;
  • Prior financial services audit experience is desirable;
  • Experience with CaseWare is advantageous;
  • Strong technical knowledge;
  • Experience in supervising junior staff members on audit assignments;
  • Client-focused with strong commercial acumen;
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal skills;
  • A team player with strong communication and leadership potential.
