Forvis Mazars is a leading professional services firm in Ireland with ambitious growth plans and over 800 staff based in Dublin, Cork, Galway, and Limerick.
As an internationally integrated partnership, we operate in over 100 countries and territories around the world and draw on the expertise of over 50,000 professionals to assist clients of all sizes at every stage in their development.
Why join us
Our next-generation graduate training programme is designed around understanding and appreciating the distinct qualities and experiences of each employee and where possible providing personalised support, mentoring, and resources tailored to individual needs and aspirations.
We put people before processes, empowering you to lead, innovate and foster your entrepreneurial talents.
If you are looking for a career where you can truly make an impact, Forvis Mazars is the right place for you.
The Position
Auditors have the responsibility of determining how honest and accurate a business's financial records are while also suggesting ways to reduce cost, enhance revenue and increase profits.
As an Audit Associate with Forvis Mazars, you will gain a wide range of experience across a wide variety of clients including privately owned businesses, large corporates, and multinational organisations.
Forvis Mazars Audit & Assurance teams are split into specific areas; Public Interest Entities (PIE), Privately Owned Business (POB) and Financial Services (FS).
Each area offers graduates the opportunity to pursue either ACA or ACCA professional qualification.
From the outset, you will experience auditing some of the lower risk audit areas and as you progress you will become responsible for the most complex and high-risk sections on an audit file and be pivotal to managing our client relationships and service delivery.
The level of your responsibilities will be driven by your capability, your on-the-job performance and your motivation to succeed.
About you
We accept applications from a range of different backgrounds.
While your academic background is of course relevant, what's more important to us is how you apply yourself to your studies and to the pursuit of knowledge.
You may have a background in engineering, business, law, science, or economics - but what's important is that you bring to the firm a willingness to learn and apply your skills in the best way possible.
We can teach you the technical and business skills you need - but you also need energy and the right attitude to succeed.
You're working towards, or have recently been awarded an honours degree, in any discipline
You believe in having integrity and doing the right thing
You're an excellent communicator who enjoys meeting new people
You value respect, support and inclusivity
You have great interpersonal skills and love working as part of a team
You can prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
You have excellent organisational skills, computer literacy and attention to detail
