We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our client's team in Cork City. As a key member of the site team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality works are completed on time and to standard.

The Role
  • Setting out and checking works as required for the project, ensuring all works are completed in line with project specifications and building regulations.
  • Performing checks on the quality of works completed to ensure they meet industry standards.
  • Liaising with subcontractors and personnel on site in the planning of daily tasks for the project.
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met and adhered to on site.
  • Supporting the Project Manager, Contracts Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure works are completed as per programme and to standard.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience with main contracting on RC Frame projects, including taking the frame out of the ground.
  • Experience setting out for multistorey structures.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in an engineering role with a Main building Contractor in ROI.
  • Ability to use setting out instruments and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
