We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Business Enablement team as an Operations Risk Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing governance, regulatory compliance, risk and control management, and delivering high-quality reporting to enable effective decision-making.
About the Role- Support in managing business risks and controls, including any regulatory requirements, policy breaches, operational risk events, and complaints.
- Complete quality assurance activities and support effective communication and coordination with 2 LOD and 3 LOD assurance teams as required.
- Where issues are identified, assist in ensuring that appropriate mitigating actions are agreed and tracked through to completion within agreed due dates.
- Support regulatory and governance oversight, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Prepare and present reports for senior management and various fora/committees.
- Participate in change initiatives to drive process improvements, system automation, and enhanced MI.
- Relevant third-level qualification.
- Previous experience in an operational risk, business support, quality assurance, or compliance-focused role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong MS Word, Power Point, and Excel skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work to challenging deadlines.
