Job Description

We are seeking skilled culinary professionals to join our kitchen team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for food preparation and organization, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standard.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a hotel or busy food business, with excellent knowledge of food and strong people management skills. You will also have the ability to train and develop junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
  • Food preparation and organisation.
  • Preparing food for breakfast, carvery, bar, restaurant, and functions.
  • Provide a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Ordering and stock management, including stocktakes.
  • HACCP compliance.
  • Staff training and development.
Requirements
  • 2/3 years of prior experience in a hotel or busy food business is essential.
  • HACCP trained.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to train and develop junior team members.
  • Ability to multi-task and help out in all areas of the kitchen.
  • Excellent knowledge of food and strong people management skills.
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Available for early starts and late finishes.
