Job Title: Healthcare Assistant (HCA)

Locations: Clondalkin & Lucan, Dublin

Full-Time & Part-Time Roles Available

Pay: Up to €17.00 per hour

This is a home care role - You will be visiting and supporting clients in their own homes

NO VISA SPONSORSHIP - all applicants must have the legal right to work in Ireland.

What is Home Care?

As a Home Care Assistant, you'll support people in their own homes, helping them stay independent and live with dignity in their community.

You are not based in a hospital or nursing home - you travel from home to home within your local area.

Pay & Benefits:

Up to €15.00/hour for QQI qualified and experienced staff
Up to €17.00/hour on Sundays
Double Pay on Bank Holidays
Bi-weekly pay
Travel payment between clients

Responsibilities:

Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Meal preparation and feeding support
Companionship and emotional support
Light household tasks (tidying, laundry, etc.)
Supporting mobility and transfers
Following and recording care plans accurately
Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing

Requirements:

We welcome both new and experienced carers who meet one of the following:

QQI Level 5 Modules:

Care Skills/Healthcare Support
Care of the Older Person

1+ year of care experience and a willingness to complete the two modules (which Bluebird Care provides FREE of charge)
Good spoken and written English
Driving is an advantage, but non-drivers will be considered
Must have legal right to work in Ireland - sponsorship is not available
