Job Title: Engineering Manager for Data Center Retrofits and Upgrades
">About the Role:
">- Manage a team that provides full life-cycle support to existing data centers for retrofits and upgrades.
- Lead a team of engineers who will be the 'go to' resource for technical advice and use subject matter expertise to expand and support our large and growing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Hire, develop, and coach employees who demonstrate Amazon's leadership principles.
- Manage team and individual performance, including promotions and growth opportunities.
- Create and improve metrics to drive efficiencies in repeatable work.
- Apply high judgement to make trade-offs on competing business needs.
About You:
">- Bachelor's Degree in electrical/Mechanical/Structural Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in managing a distributed engineering team.
- Proven track record of leading teams of 6+ direct reports for 6+ years.
