Job Opportunity: Experienced Dental Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled dental nurse to join our dynamic team in a high-end modern dental practice located in South Dublin.

Job Description:

  • Provide chairside assistance during various treatment procedures, anticipating patient needs and offering support.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including dental charting and treatment notes.
  • Ensure the surgery remains clean and organized, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Decontaminate and sterilize dental instruments, equipment, and materials for treatment.
  • Enforce health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
  • Manage dental supplies and inventory, restocking as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the receptionist to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scheduling.
  • Assist with reception duties where required.
  • Support dental laboratory procedures, including pouring and trimming models, and fabricating temporary restorations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivation and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • A good command of the English language (written and spoken).
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and multitask within a fast-paced environment.
