Senior Clinical Pharmacist

Beaumont Hospital seeks a dedicated pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining awareness of the primacy of patients and upholding the hospital's values.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain awareness of patient primacy across all hospital activities.
- Demonstrate behavior consistent with the hospital's values.
- Participate in the pharmaceutical service as part of a professional team.
- Create, promote, and maintain open communications and healthy working relationships.
- Maintain principles of equity, accountability, and quality in daily work.
- Identify, develop, and implement policies and operational processes under supervision.
- Review medications for in-patients and out-patients.
- Evaluate and ensure the safe and efficacious dispensing of each prescription.
- Counsel patients about their medications.
- Monitor and promote adherence.
- Record activities on the dispensing program.
- Collaborate closely with medical and nursing colleagues to advise on the safe use of medicines.
- Perform ward-based clinical services, including advice to medical and nursing staff.
- Cultivate timely collation and input of data concerning drug usage.
- Hold registration as a pharmacist with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI).
- Possess at least three years satisfactory post-registration hospital experience.
- Exhibit requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of duties.
