Electronics Engineer IC

  The role of an Electronics Design Engineer IC is pivotal in the development of cutting-edge semiconductor products for Data Center, Telecommunication, and Industrial applications. A trusted partner to industry leaders worldwide, MACOM brings over 65 years of application expertise to the table.


  Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the full IC design lifecycle from concept through product release with unwavering responsibility.
  • Simulate and design integrated circuits based on available device models, parameters, and design rules with exceptional technical prowess.
  • Contribute to seamless New Product Introduction processes.
  • Carry out prototype and pre-production testing of RF & Microwave components with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multi-disciplined project team environment.
  • Engage with customers and product marketing teams to help define product specifications.

  Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Cadence and ADS/AWR tools.
  • Strong understanding of RF concepts and principles.
  • Design and layout of RF/Microwave ICs, preferably using SOI technology.
  • Desirable experience in areas such as RF/Microwave Switches, Amplifiers, Attenuators, Phase Shifters, and Filters.
  • Proficiency in EM simulation and RC extraction tools.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capacity to thrive in a global team environment.
  • Experience as a team-lead with aspirations for future management roles.
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering, coupled with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
