Early Years Support Educator

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Years Educator to join our team as an AIM Support Educator.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a nurturing and vibrant early years education setting dedicated to providing a high-quality educational experience for children. Our team fosters growth, curiosity, and a love for learning in a safe and secure environment.
The successful candidate will have the skills and knowledge to assist in the education and care of children allocated AIM Support in line with the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM). They will work closely with the Lead Educator/Room Leader to implement individual support strategies, adapt activities and the learning environment to ensure accessibility and participation for all children, and ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of all children.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum Level 5 QQI Early Childhood Care and Education qualification (Level 6 or higher desirable) and knowledge of the AIM model and inclusive early childhood education principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as well as a nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children.
Responsibilities- Assist in the education and care of children allocated AIM Support in line with the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM).
- Work closely with the Lead Educator/Room Leader to implement individual support strategies.
- Adapt activities and the learning environment to ensure accessibility and participation for all children.
- Ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of all children.
- Assist in planning and implementing an age-appropriate stimulating program of activities underpinned by Aistear and Siolta.
- Assist with the structure of the classroom daily routine and functionality.
- Minimum Level 5 QQI Early Childhood Care and Education qualification (Level 6 or higher desirable).
