Job DescriptionWe believe in creating an atmosphere that fosters growth, curiosity, and a love for learning. As an AIM Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting in the education and care of children allocated AIM Support in line with the Access and Inclusion Model (AIM).
- To assist in adapting activities and the learning environment to ensure accessibility and participation for all children.
- Work closely with the Lead Educator/Room Leader to implement individual support strategies.
You will be part of a collaborative team that prioritizes the safety, security, and wellbeing of all children. Your role will involve assisting in the planning and implementation of an age-appropriate stimulating program of activities underpinned by Aistear and Siolta.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Minimum Level 5 QQI Early Childhood Care and Education qualification (Level 6 or higher desirable).
- Knowledge of the AIM model and inclusive early childhood education principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children.
