**Job Overview:** We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor / Team Lead to cover Day Shift. This role is critical to the operation of the depot and requires flexibility, hard work, and good people-management skills.
The Team Lead will be responsible for supervising a section of the warehouse, providing leadership and direction to achieve organisational goals. This includes:
- Compliance with and management of all warehouse and delivery processes across the site
- Support management across shifts in monitoring performance standards and performance improvement
- Ensuring facility maintenance and hygiene are maintained to the highest standard
- Management of health and safety, incident reporting and investigation
- Ensure security procedures are adhered to and managed
- Ensure all equipment and MHE are maintained and used correctly
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of a variety of roles including driver, shunter, trunker, loader, selector, receiving and FLT functions. They will also have excellent knowledge of internal transport and compliance procedures, as well as good working knowledge of Department of Transport regulations (Tachograph legislation, Working Time Directive etc.).
Flexibility regarding working hours, start and finish times will depend on the business. A clean attendance and punctuality record, as well as a good health and safety record, is essential. The candidate must also be security conscious and have excellent organisational skills.
**Requirements:**
