Lead Environmental Sustainability Specialist

The role of Environmental Sustainability Leader is to champion the development and implementation of Construction Environmental and Sustainability programs across our projects.
This leadership position requires expertise in sustainable design practices, environmental legislation, and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will inspire our project teams and enable our construction sites to become Best in Class from an environmental and sustainability perspective.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing Construction Environmental and Sustainability programs.
- Championing decarbonisation, low-energy techniques, and renewable energy solutions for our projects.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental legislative requirements across our projects.
- Implementing Life Cycle Assessment methodologies and low-carbon building materials across our projects.
- Driving the implementation of LEED, BREEAM, WELL, and other assessment schemes for our projects.
- Working with our supply chain to enhance Environmental and Sustainability programs.
- Implementing Environmental Management and Waste Management Plans for our projects.
- Managing ES Construction Services personnel, including recruitment, training, and mentoring.
Qualifications include:
- Demonstrated capability in Construction Environmental and Sustainability Program implementation.
- Professional qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Environmental, or related subject.
- LEED AP BD&C / ID+C and/or BREEAM AP qualifications desirable.
- 8+ years' experience in sustainability/energy consultancy or related position.
- Excellent knowledge of sustainable design practices and international experience desirable.
