We are looking for a visionary leader to join our team as Director of Process Automation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of automation strategies that align with our business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Daily Operations Management
  • Ensure the provision of automation resources for day to day support of the sites operating areas.
  • Manage the link between the team and key customers, internal and/or external.
  • Responsible for process automation strategy and planning activities at the site.
  • Responsible for the relationship with control system vendors and gets involved in the negotiations around new equipment, professional services, etc.
  • Responsible for the technical and personal development of the process automation team.
  • Also responsible for day-to-day supervision of these persons which includes the administration of company policy.
  • Ensure resources are available and assigned to be able to implement and maintain systems in a compliant state.
  • Accountable for the design and implementation for all quality/automation/validation processes in the automation process control team.
  • Participates and influences Corporate Automation groups; acts as part of the global process control leadership group.

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Strong knowledge of process automation principles and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics and Instrumentation, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or qualifications in other relevant engineering discipline.
