
New Business Opportunities Executive

This Business Development Consultant position involves a dynamic role that brings together business acumen, creativity and strong communication skills to drive sales success in assigned regions. As a creative director of new account openings, the ideal candidate will possess a proactive approach to prospecting and networking.
Key Responsibilities">- Meet and exceed all sales targets for opening new accounts within designated regions, including lead-to-contact, qualified-to-presentation, presentation-to-opened metrics.
- Collaborate closely with Sales Managers and field sales teams to identify and pursue key-profile accounts.
- Maintain a top 20 prospect list for their region, reviewing and updating regularly to ensure it reflects the active top 20 profile accounts in the region.
- Generate own sales leads through targeted prospecting and networking efforts.
- Effectively manage and follow up on sales leads from Head Office in a timely manner.
- Develop bespoke compelling pitches in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Trade Marketing, Education, Sales, Finance).
- Work closely with Commercial Sales Managers, Sales Managers, and Finance to develop and align new account commercial terms.
- Maintain accurate client records and complete CRM administration tasks.
- Attend trade shows, events, guest speaker evenings, regional classes, and conferences.
The successful candidate will have:
- A proven track record in B2B sales experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in opening new accounts and account management.
- Field sales experience.
- A track record of reaching and exceeding all business targets.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to analyze business performance to identify and maximize potential opportunities.
- Self-motivation.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and adaptability.
