We are currently recruiting for a Property Expert to join our client's Services Department in Charleville, County Cork. You will be working on a continuous stream of projects, collaborating with property clients, senior professionals, and construction contractors. As a Property Expert, you will be responsible for undertaking on-site property surveys and structural surveys, investigating and diagnosing building conditions in line with Building Regulations and Fire Regulations based on property history.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting on-site property inspections to assess quality and identify any structural faults.
  • Investigating and diagnosing building conditions, recommending solutions to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to project-manage, control budgets, and supervise building projects on-site.
  • Providing expert advice and assistance to builders, ensuring adherence to planning applications and relevant legislation.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum Degree in Building Surveying (NFQ Level 8) or Civil / Structural Engineering – BSc in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification.
  • Proven work experience in building surveying or civil-structural engineering, demonstrating expertise in property law and regulations.
  • A full, clean Irish/EU driving license, allowing for efficient site visits and travel.

A fully expensed company vehicle, laptop, phone, and salary are offered. Salary is open to negotiation based on experience.
