We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a busy pharmacy environment.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, record, and assemble prescriptions.
- Issue receipts and inform pharmacists of any changes in drug therapy or interactions between prescribed medications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by serving customers over the counter and recommending suitable products.
- Maintain accurate records, including computer records and paperwork pertaining to various schemes.
- Ensure the smooth running of the dispensary, adhering to company procedures and protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- IPU Pharmacy Technician course or Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.
- 2 years of experience in a pharmacy technician role is preferable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good attention to detail is essential.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask successfully in a challenging environment.
