Speech Therapist Career Opportunity

This is a specialized role that requires a Speech Therapist to work with individuals of all ages, enhancing communication and swallowing abilities.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders and proven experience as a Speech Therapist.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who is patient and compassionate, with a strong portfolio of client success stories.

The selected candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, developing individualized therapy plans, and conducting therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in clients.
  • Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans based on client assessments.
  • Conducting therapy sessions that target communication goals, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborating with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support client progress.
  • Monitoring client progress and adjusting therapy plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Educating clients and families on communication strategies and techniques to encourage practice outside of sessions.
  • Staying current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Proven experience as a Speech Therapist, with a strong portfolio of client success stories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and compassionate approach.
  • Understanding of various speech and language disorders and treatment methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Familiarity with technology and software used for speech therapy documentation is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications and professional licenses required to practice in Ireland.
