Key Data Science Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team in Galway. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy advanced machine learning models and statistical algorithms to solve real-world business problems.

You will also translate complex data into actionable insights and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. To be successful, you should have strong programming skills in Python or R, and experience with SQL, as well as proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.

Other key responsibilities include deep understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modelling, as well as experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data infrastructure tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow, Docker).

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in Python or R, and experience with SQL.
  • Proven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modelling.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and data infrastructure tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a track record of influencing business decisions through data.
  • Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
