A Career with MeaningWe're seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Social Care Leaders at our new residential facility in Co. Monaghan. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise while making a real difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop therapeutic relationships with young people, ensuring their physical, psychological, social, and emotional needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the management team to maintain a safe and stable environment, adhering to regulatory requirements and our policies and procedures.
  • Assist in creating and implementing educational plans, supporting participation in recreational activities, and keeping accurate records and reports.
  • Oversight of budgets, including clothing, holiday, school, and family access budgets.
  • Attend multi-disciplinary meetings, such as Child in Care Reviews and Placement Planning Meetings.
  • Write and edit reports for meetings and reviews, ensuring timely submission.
  • Take responsibility for the efficient running of shifts, supervising staff, and promoting a safe and structured environment.
  • Complete monitoring work, internal audits, and fulfill supervisory responsibilities within legislative time scales.

Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification (Level 7 or above) in a relevant field, such as Social Care, Social Work, Health and Social, or Youth & Community.
  • At least 2 years' experience working with children/young people from challenging backgrounds.
  • Proven key working experience, with up-to-date knowledge of legislation surrounding Residential Childcare and Safeguarding.
  • Ability to deliver reports and meet deadlines, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.
  • Full driving license.
