Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and report on residential income from rental portfolios.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare budget projections and asset management strategies.
  • Analyze monthly financial reports and compile portfolio performance data.
  • Monitor key performance indicators, including occupancy rates, lease-up periods, voids, arrears, and operating expenses.
  • Perform variance analysis versus budgeted targets.
  • Benchmark performance across portfolios to identify anomalies.
  • Manage rent review cycles and processes in compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Prepare periodic rental income forecasts as required.
  • Implement control systems to ensure leasing compliance.
  • Support audit and risk management activities by providing data and narrative.
  • Compile executive-level reports, including written narratives.
  • Provide weekly/monthly reports for internal meetings and project reviews.
  • Identify and define requirements for revenue management systems within rental portfolios.
  • Streamline departmental processes to improve efficiency.
Person Specification
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in revenue and management accounting within the residential rental sector.
  • Proven track record of implementing property-related IT systems in rental environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
