Job Title: Electrical Design Specialist

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for managing all Electrical design aspects of various projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Electrical designs on a range of projects
  • Develop sustainable building engineering services designs, calculations, technical notes, and reports
  • Evaluate and implement best practices to ensure technical quality and continuous improvement
  • Present project findings and recommendations to clients
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant legislation and industry trends through ongoing professional development
  • Integrate health and safety considerations into all work aspects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education in Electrical or Building Services discipline
  • Relevant experience in designing and specifying Electrical Building Services systems to relevant standards and codes of practice
  • Familiarity with other Building Services disciplines
  • Able to develop design solutions that minimize health and safety risks
  • Able to conduct research and work independently
