Mentor Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mentor Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will work closely with residents, providing personalized support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Daily Living: Assist residents with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with mealtime duties.
  • Promote Independence: Help residents maximize their independence by promoting choice and person-centered care.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as part of a team, respecting colleagues and residents at all times.
  • Safety and Compliance: Promote safe working practices in line with company policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Care Skills: QQI Level 5 in Care Skills & Care of the Older Person qualification (or equivalent).
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 40 hours of relevant work experience.
  • Transportation: Own car and clean driving license.
  • Communication: Solid verbal and written communication skills.
