Pharmaceutical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Pharmacist to lead our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the provision of pharmaceutical care and clinical pharmacy services within our hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacology, experience in leading teams, and excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. They will also have experience in change management and quality improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing a team of pharmacists and technicians
  • Developing and implementing medication policies and procedures
  • Managing new medication additions to the hospital formulary
  • Coordinating service delivery with other healthcare professionals

The successful candidate will be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and have at least 4 years of satisfactory post-registration experience in a hospital setting. They will also possess the necessary knowledge and ability to discharge the duties of this role effectively.
