Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Employment Lawyer to join our team in Belfast. The ideal candidate will have excellent academics, strong employment experience, and the ability to build excellent relationships with clients.

The successful candidate will work on a range of domestic and international employment issues, including transactions, redundancy, multi-jurisdictional projects, litigation, investigations, and data subject access requests.

Key responsibilities include advising on diligence reviews, preparing diligence reports, coordinating multi-jurisdictional disclosure schedules, and advising on global business carve outs.

The role also involves working on Employment Tribunal claims, managing and conducting disclosure exercises, and preparing ET3 forms, Grounds of Resistance, and witness statements.

In addition, the candidate will conduct fact-finding investigations into employee allegations, advise on investigation procedures, and prepare data privacy notices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified as a solicitor in Northern Ireland and/or England and Wales
  • Excellent academics coupled with evidence of good quality training and strong employment experience gained from a leading employment practice
  • Good commercial mind-set, a strong team player, and the ability to build excellent relationships with clients
