Chief Data Engineer

This is a challenging opportunity for experienced professionals to join our Data Platforms Team and contribute to the development of a secure, highly available, fully automated cloud-native platform for data analytics.
The team manages petabytes of data that are processed, queried, visualized, and analyzed at scale. We're looking for self-motivated individuals with a strong interest in design and development who can work closely with senior engineers, product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities include designing comprehensive technical solutions for complex business challenges, mentoring team members on implementation, and defining best practices to support a scalable data environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English are essential, as well as experience with software languages such as Java or Python, web-development skills and middlewares like Spring Boot, databases, caches, and Big Data technologies.
Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development principles, clean coding habits, attention to detail, and a focus on quality and best practices.
