Job Overview:

Mechanical Installation Lead

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services in a Dublin-based environment.

This role involves ensuring all necessary permits are in place, conducting inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues, and collaborating with main contractors and the site team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
  • Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
  • Collaborate with main contractors and the site team.
  • Manage on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE, etc.
  • Coordinate plant hire, tools, and labour.
  • Manage labour and subcontractors.
  • Manage external correspondence.
  • Order day-to-day site materials.
  • Update project information in progress reports.
  • Maintain the K&M Document Management System.
  • Manage project-specific scheduling.
  • Communicate changes to the Project team.
  • Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualifications or further education in mechanical building services.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Previous experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role.
  • People management experience.
  • Project Management experience is beneficial.
  • Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Willingsness to do some travel if required.
