Usability Staff Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced UX designer to join our Agile development team in Ireland. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design of large-scale SaaS software solutions.

Our ideal candidate has a strong portfolio that highlights a deep understanding of UX design principles and a proven track record of delivering successful solutions for complex enterprise-level products.

You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure design meets objectives and collaborate with peers in the UX team, product managers, and leadership to define and evaluate detailed product requirements and UX standards.

Responsibilities include translating concepts and requirements into user flows, wireframes, designs, and prototypes, and assisting with the implementation of designs by collaborating with developers.

  • Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistent and cohesive user experiences across multiple product teams.
  • Conduct user research and testing to validate design solutions and gather insights to inform future design decisions.
  • Host workshops and ideation sessions to foster collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications include at least 5 years' experience in UX design or related field, a strong portfolio, and experience working with Figma to create visual designs, interactive prototypes, and version control.

Additional qualifications include excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to effectively communicate design solutions to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and technical competence with the ability to quickly learn new complex technologies.
