As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland's most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our user experience team as a UX/UI Designer.

We prioritize creating impactful, customer-centric designs as part of our Digital Product Team. You will have the opportunity to design consumer-facing digital experiences across a portfolio that includes SuperValu, Real Rewards, and Centra.

What you'll be doing:
  • Create engaging and user-friendly interface designs that align with established brand guidelines and contribute to a seamless customer experience across digital platforms.
  • Assist in conducting user research and usability testing, gathering insights to refine design solutions and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with senior designers and product managers to understand project requirements, translating them into intuitive and accessible designs, including wireframes, prototypes, and final UI elements.
  • Work within existing design systems, maintaining consistency in visual elements and user interactions, while contributing feedback for system improvements.
What we're looking for:
  • Relevant third-level qualification in design
  • 2+ years of experience as a UX designer
  • Proficiency with interface design tools (Figma preferred; or experience with Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar)
  • Experience with user research and data analytics
  • Basic working knowledge of CSS, HTML, and JavaScript is an advantage
  • Understanding of User-Centered Design and design principles
  • Experience creating lo-fi wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and journeys
  • Knowledge of building, using, and iterating Design Systems is a bonus
  • Strong eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
