System Hardware Validation Engineer

The System Hardware Validation Engineer will join our team to work on leading technologies like the Snapdragon chipset. The role is critical in delivering high-quality products to millions of customers quickly. As part of the system validation team, you'll develop or port test software to evaluate new hardware IPs.

In this role, you will focus on development in Driver/Firmware Development and Validation, Debug and Resolution of Issues and Software Use-Case Implementation. You will work closely with system architects, software engineers, hardware designers, and verification engineers.

  • Deliver low-level hardware drivers for Qualcomm Snapdragon Subsystems
  • Manage validation and testing of the driver/hardware
  • Migrate drivers to new platforms as required
  • Drive innovation in software use cases
  • On-going code re-factoring
  • Test plan development and execution

Required Skills:

  • Low Level software development in C, C++ and Assembly
  • Excellent knowledge of ARM and RISC V processors
  • Experience in automation and test/integration methodologies
  • Experience developing validation methodologies and infrastructure solutions
  • Experience with SCM tools (GIT, Perforce)
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA)
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong debug skills
