Job Title: Senior Compliance Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to become a senior compliance professional and lead a team of compliance experts in a dynamic food retail services environment.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have a business-related diploma or degree, experience in managing industry legislation and sustainability compliance, and sound analytical skills.
  • They will be responsible for leading all compliance aspects across Wholesale, Foodservice, Retail & Alcohol, implementing legislative changes, managing current and future compliance requirements, and updating policies and procedures to reflect legislative changes.
  • Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure accurate compliance processes and records.
  • The successful candidate will provide expert input to business decision-making and ensure all transactions comply with procedures and legislation.
  • Liaising with internal and external auditors as needed will be a key aspect of this role.

Requirements:

  • A business-related diploma or degree is required.
  • Experience in managing industry legislation and sustainability compliance is essential.
  • Sound analytical skills and excellent planning and organising abilities are necessary.
  • A strong commercial customer focus and ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders are also required.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in managing industry legislation and sustainability compliance, including Windsor Framework, Tobacco Track and Trace, and Plastic Tax Duty paid and Duty deferred knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Compliance experience in a wholesale/retail/alcohol environment is desirable.
