Lead Compliance Officer Job


This is a key role with responsibility for ensuring compliance across all business areas.


The Lead Compliance Officer will implement and manage legislative changes, develop compliance policies and procedures, and liaise with auditors and government bodies.


  • Implement and manage legislative changes (e.g. Windsor Framework, DRS, EPR).
  • Develop, update, and oversee compliance policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with auditors, government bodies, and trade associations.
  • Manage and develop the compliance team.
  • Partner with internal departments to ensure accurate and compliant processes.

Requirements:


A degree or diploma in a business-related field is required.


Proven compliance experience in wholesale, retail, or alcohol environments is essential.


Strong knowledge of industry legislation (e.g. Windsor Framework, Plastic Tax, Tobacco Track and Trace) is necessary.


Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills are required.
