Cloud Infrastructure Lead

A leading company in Dublin seeks a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Lead to oversee the administration, support, and optimization of its hybrid IT environment.

  • Manage Azure Active Directory, Azure VMs, and other Azure services.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
  • Lead cloud governance and security initiatives.
  • Oversee cloud migrations, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Maintain identity access management systems using Azure AD, Group Policy, MFA, and conditional access.

This role involves:

  1. Providing technical support, including resolving escalated issues and performing root cause analysis.
  2. Mentoring junior IT staff and support technicians.
  3. Monitoring system performance and availability, and implementing improvements as needed.
  4. Maintaining accurate documentation for system architecture, configurations, and processes.
  5. Delivering key software and configuration services to the user base.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a System Administrator, with 2 years in a senior or cloud-focused role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (IaaS and PaaS services).
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and Power Shell scripting.
