Senior Quality Control Associate

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Control Associate to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Duties:
  • Plan and perform complex analyses with efficiency and accuracy, ensuring high-quality results in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement multiple routine and non-routine methods and procedures, as well as various assays to support quality control objectives.
  • Report, evaluate, back-up/archive, trend, and approve analytical data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot problems and communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Initiate and/or implement changes in controlled documents to maintain compliance with industry standards.
  • Participate in audits, initiatives, and projects that may be departmental or organizational in scope, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Review protocols and perform assay validation and equipment qualification/verification when required, ensuring the highest level of quality.
  • Introduce new techniques to the lab, including method transfers, reports, validations, and protocols, enhancing the team's capabilities.
  • Contribute to regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Evaluate lab practices for compliance on a continuous basis, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field is required, preferably with a focus on Chemistry or Analytical testing.
  • 3+ years of biopharmaceutical QC experience or related quality control or GMP laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, with a strong background in Chemistry and Analytical testing.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance in cGMP manufacturing and testing of pharmaceutical products, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and achieving quality targets.
  • Experience with analytical techniques such as Compendial testing would be advantageous.
