As a retail pharmacy manager, you are responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional retail standards in the front-of-counter operation.

The successful candidate will lead the front-of-counter retail business and team, ensuring they meet sales targets as agreed with the business manager.

  • Maintain the pharmacy to high standards, ensuring staff understand their duties and expectations.
  • Implement effective retail practices, including category management, merchandising, stock control, and following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Handle cash and receipts professionally, addressing issues with staff and maintaining accurate records of goods and services.
  • Develop and execute product promotions in the pharmacy, implementing policies and procedures introduced by Allcare Management Services.
  • Ensure the security of all stock, property, keys, and the safety of staff and customers.
  • Keep the pharmacy clean and tidy, delegating cleaning duties and monitoring health and safety issues.
  • Protect confidentiality and maintain details of the business within the company.
  • Monitor public perception of the pharmacy and analyze issues affecting its retail business.
