Job Title

A Retail Pharmacy Manager is required to lead our front-of-counter retail business and team, striving to deliver best-in-class retail standards.

As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the pharmacy in line with company standards, evaluating and implementing excellent retail standards and practices, and managing the proper procedure for various Department of Health schemes.

  • Responsibilities include ensuring correct procedures for handling, processing, and controlling cash and receipts throughout the pharmacy, addressing any issues promptly.
  • You will manage the security of all stock, property, keys, and the safety of staff and customers, as well as maintain a clean and tidy pharmacy environment.
  • Additionally, you will analyze and advise the company on various issues affecting its pharmacy and retail business, achieve agreed budgets, and observe the Health and Safety at Work Act.
  • Maximizing profitability through efficient Front-of-Counter Operation will also be a key objective.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role or industry is essential, along with strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion is necessary, as you will be handling confidential information.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols is also essential.
