">About the OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Building Services professional to join our team in Dublin. The ideal candidate will possess excellent collaboration skills, with a proven track record of working effectively at all levels.
Key Responsibilities- Design, manage, and coordinate production of all Building Services systems, including HVAC, Utilities, Plumbing, and Fire Protection for large scale projects.
- Lead the design process from concept to completion.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and further develop our design capability.
- Attend design team meetings to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to guarantee quality and safety standards.
- Develop and guide team members under your supervision, promoting their growth and development.
- Liaise and interact with the wider project team, including designers, clients, and contractors.
- Ensure designs meet applicable codes and standards, such as Irish Building Regulations, CIBSE Design Guides, British Standards, and Health & Safety Regulations.
- At least 10 years' experience in the design of Building Services systems, preferably in a consultancy environment within the pharmaceutical or allied sectors.
- Proficiency in design software such as Fluid Flow or Pipe-Flo.
- Honours degree (NFQ Level 8 for Ireland), preferably in Building Services or Mechanical engineering.
- Experience of working in a collaborative BIM environment.
- Chartered Engineer preferred.
