Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Database Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in designing and building Oracle database schemas, as well as administering a Jenkins instance to build windows executables.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Oracle PL/SQL coding, including the use of dynamic SQL, bind variables, and bulk collect. They will also have experience with application tuning, data definition, and transaction control language.

  • Database Development:
  • Design and build Oracle database schemas
  • Administer a Jenkins instance to build windows executables
  • Coding in adherence to Department and Oracle standards
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Manage project source code and documentation
  • Effort estimation & quality control of code and other deliverables
  • Version control of application code
  • Database tuning and performance monitoring
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database problems
  • Advising on Oracle features and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills:
  • Oracle PL/SQL coding

  • Database design, implementation, logical and physical data model
  • Largescale database development and maintenance
  • Excel spreadsheets manipulation using PL/SQL
  • BLOB manipulation using PL/SQL
  • Json and XML programming using custom PL/SQL
  • JavaScript, application processes, Ajax
  • APEX Themes, CSS, UI customization
