Cloud Security Engineer Role

As a senior cloud security engineer, you will play a critical role in enhancing the security and compliance of our cloud infrastructure. This includes defining and implementing least privilege access policies, monitoring system performance, and maintaining system health.

This position requires strong technical leadership skills, collaboration with development teams, and knowledge of cloud identity governance frameworks. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining guardrails to enforce/measure IAM cloud compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement solutions to enforce least privilege access policies
  • Implement and manage access controls, including role-based access control (RBAC)
  • Monitor, log, and analyze system performance using Azure operations suite
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and data backup strategies
  • Collaborate with development teams to enable CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment
  • Establish and maintain cloud identity governance frameworks
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant subject OR equivalent experience
  • Experience as a security-focused DevOps engineer
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating resources in Azure and AWS
  • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and experience working with CI/CD technologies such as git and Terraform
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Working experience in AWS Identity and Access Management, multi-factor authentication, user provisioning, service principal governance/management, privileged Identity management (PIM), single sign-on (SSO), domain management
  • Working experience with Cloud IAM functionality across multiple public cloud services (IAM Roles, Permissions and Policies)
Certifications:
  • CompTIA Security+
  • Azure Administrator Associate
  • Azure Security Engineer Associate
