Job Role

The role of the Classroom Assistant is to provide support to learners and teachers by undertaking a range of non-teaching duties. This includes classroom administration, practical tasks, and contributing to the preparation of teaching materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the teaching staff
  • Assist with the preparation of teaching materials
  • Support the promotion and delivery of key objectives
  • Contribute to the integration of key objectives into the curriculum
Requirements

This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or have an existing PVG Scheme Record Update.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range between £24,333 and £25,353 per annum for full-time workers. Part-time workers can expect a corresponding hourly rate based on 27.5 hours worked per week.

About the Posts

There are two temporary part-time term-time posts available at Drongan Primary School. The posts are available until June 2026 and involve working 27.5 hours per week as directed by the Line Manager.
