We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to lead and mentor our maintenance team, ensuring high standards of performance and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Summary

This is a permanent, day-shift role offering excellent work-life balance, competitive salary, and a strong benefits package. As a Lead Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for delivering and managing a preventative maintenance program to maximise equipment uptime.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring high standards of performance and safety.
  • Deliver and manage a preventative maintenance program to maximise equipment uptime.
  • Provide hands-on electrical and instrumentation support across the plant.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet operational goals.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with external contractors.
  • Support factory improvement projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognised electrical trade qualification (Ireland or UK).
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a lead or supervisory engineering role.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Advantageous: PLC programming, HMI/SCADA design, panel building, and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and project management tools.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
