Electrical Design Engineer for Mission Critical Facilities

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will lead design projects in operational data centers. Your responsibilities include performing design and equipment submittal reviews, interfacing with internal and external engineering teams, and working on concurrent projects globally. You will be a technical subject matter expert for your discipline and support construction, commissioning, operations, and turnover.

You will work with software, hardware, network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. The role requires experience managing engineering projects, working with junior engineers, and interacting with different teams responsible for various aspects of the data centers.

Basic Qualifications:

">
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ cumulative years of design experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation, oil / gas facilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

">
  • 3+ years data center design experience.
  • Chartered Engineer.
  • Prior project management experience; PMP/ Prince2.
