Electrical Design Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. This role involves producing design specifications, marking up and checking design drawings, supporting on-site activities, site inspections, equipment qualifications, and presenting designs to stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, with a cumulative experience in power systems and mission critical electrical design. They should have an excellent understanding of the European Electrical Codes, detailed knowledge of critical LV, MV, and HV electrical equipment, and the ability to research new designs, technologies, and construction methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing design specifications and technical documentation
  • Marking up and checking design drawings
  • Supporting on-site activities, including technical submittal reviews and answering RFIs
  • Site inspections and equipment qualifications
  • Presenting designs to stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Cumulative experience in power systems and mission critical electrical design
  • Excellent understanding of European Electrical Codes
  • Detailed knowledge of critical LV, MV, and HV electrical equipment
  • Ability to research new designs, technologies, and construction methods
