Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing working papers and financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring the completion of assignments within budget and timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of working papers and financial statements in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
  • Conducting audits in accordance with auditing principles for a broad range of clients
  • Preparation of tax returns both corporate and personal
  • Investigating all issues on assignments to arrive at a solution or proposal
  • Ensuring completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Carrying out assignments in a timely, professional, and efficient manner
  • Achieving fee targets for assigned portfolio
  • Preparing technical briefs and checklists for staff and clients

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years general accounting practice experience
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or in progress
  • An in-depth knowledge of accounting and auditing standards
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter who can critically analyze and assess information
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Leadership skills with an ability to supervise
  • Excellent attention to detail and with an ability to use initiative and always maintain confidentiality
