Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real impact on our projects.

As a Senior Cost Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying from project inception to completion. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

You will also be responsible for managing and mentoring junior staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality results. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent service to our clients, and we expect all team members to demonstrate a commitment to quality, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree Qualified – BSc or MSc – in Quantity Surveying / Cost Management
  • Professionally Qualified – ideally Chartered Quantity Surveying Status with the RICS, CIOB or other equivalent institution
  • Understanding a variety of project types/sizes/sectors. Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Residential
  • Understanding of standard forms of contract
  • Experience of preparing bid submissions.
  • Prior line-management experience or mentoring
  • Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on procurement, cost, value and risk, not just cost in isolation
  • Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
