Job Opportunity: Onboarding Specialist

  • Ensure the smooth execution of client onboarding projects, managing planned events and maintaining funds while fostering proactive communication with stakeholders.
  • Oversee various aspects of client onboarding, including fund launches, transfers, and maintenance events, in collaboration with clients, external partners, and internal teams.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and internal departments to ensure seamless onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate project progress reporting, documentation, and stakeholder communication to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Promote customer satisfaction through timely coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Guide and oversee client onboarding projects from initiation to completion, incorporating legal and operational setup requirements.
  • Facilitate depositary and clearer account setup, as well as collateral management, through close collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Engage in regular exchanges with SRM and SEC FI teams to address critical business matters.
  • Develop and execute detailed handover strategies for onboardings to relevant SRM units, ensuring continuity and efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Hold a university degree or possess equivalent qualifications.
  • Accumulate at least 3-5 years of experience within the fund industry, specifically in onboarding roles.
  • Demonstrate a strong comprehension of the fund business and regulatory prerequisites.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, a personable demeanor, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Utilize project management, organizational, and time management skills to drive success.
