Project Management Specialist

The appointed Project Management Specialist shall be responsible for the effective and efficient management of project operations, ensuring that all projects are completed to the required quality, safety, and time standards.

About the Role:

  • Manage a team of skilled operatives to ensure high-quality workmanship, adhere to health and safety regulations, and manage resources efficiently.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet client expectations and company objectives.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records of project activities, including progress reports, timesheets, and site diaries.
  • Coordinate and manage resources, plant, and equipment to optimize project efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, implementing corrective actions to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience as a Project Manager/Construction Manager in the FitOut sector.
  • Carpentry background beneficial.
  • Commercial or Residential Project experience.
  • Experience managing subcontractors across various disciplines.
  • Verifiable track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and implement effective actions.
  • Highly organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with construction software (e.g., Procore, Autocad) an advantage.
