Strategic Marketing Communications Professional

This is a key role for a seasoned marketer who can drive the company's marketing communications strategy and ensure all relevant communications, CSR and events marketing are optimally aligned to the target customer needs and expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing the marketing/communications strategy which supports brand marketing and communication initiatives at a B2B and B2C level. They will also own event management and communications for Sustainability, CSR and partnership initiatives.

Key responsibilities include planning and executing a communications plan supporting the 'famous for' categories that deliver on agreed targets and budget. This includes corporate communications, profiling, consumer PR activations and internal communications.

Liaising with relevant internal teams regularly to ensure these campaigns are working to achieve business targets is also a key responsibility. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to create, maintain and implement a calendar of activity supporting the Marketing strategy.

Project Management for key strategic projects as well as tactical assignments as key marketing resource is another key responsibility. Monitoring performance, analysing KPIs and reporting on same to all key stakeholders is also required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the full marketing mix and a thorough understanding of our business and local marketing to ensure maximisation of campaigns and internal communications activities.

• A graduate education within a marketing or communications discipline
• Minimum of 5 years marketing / communications experience managing a portfolio of brands
• Experience closely managing 3rd party agencies
• Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
• Highly creative with the ability to think outside the box
• Proven ability to project manage and multi-task complex projects and deliver results
