About this Role:

As a key strategic communications professional, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative internal and external communications plans that align with our business objectives and brand values.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective internal campaigns to drive engagement, safety culture, and organisational alignment.
  • Support the HR department in developing employee engagement strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and manage content for internal news articles and social media channels.
  • Oversee analytics and insights for the internal Connect App, providing regular updates and engagement reporting.

External Communications Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy, managing engagement with the public across various platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, Vimeo).

Monitor and report on social media analytics to inform future content decisions.

Utilise digital tools such as Mailchimp to execute internal and external campaigns, including event invites and product promotions.

Manage company messaging around product launches, sustainability initiatives, and employee engagement.

Support the development of e-commerce through strategic content creation

Content Creation:

Produce high-quality content for social media posts, video scripts, and interviews.

Develop and manage photo and video content for product promotions, campaigns, and organic posts.

Collaborate with internal teams for content production and editing.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, media, industry bodies, and community partners.

Represent the organisation at events as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a communications role, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record in developing and delivering strategic communications plans.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience with digital communication tools and platforms.
  • A keen eye for marketing trends and graphic design would be advantageous.
